This a scan of a postcard of Sanjusangendo. Actual photographs are forbidden. In addition to the 1001 Kannon statues, there are 33 most excellently carved guardian deities; you can see a couple to the right. All the Kannon statues get kind of old, but the guardian deities are well worth the admission.
