The statue of Buddha can sleep soundly with this guy guarding the gate. I’ll grant that he might actually be a lion, but I still think he looks like a Pekinese. I mean, if you’re the Chinese sculptors who originated the idea, are you going to try to find a friendly lion to model for you, or just go with the family Pekinese?
