This garden is completely different. It is a modern reconstruction, and I do not think that the site is a functioning Buddhist temple (although it is a functioning minor tourist attraction, one which I recommend). Still, one could argue that there are similar elements. There is a sea of stones, in the middle of which sits an iaiseki, a stone which represents the mountain of Buddha. I was not aware that Buddha had a mountain; perhaps this is where people who achieve enlightment escape to in this Buddhist sect. There is still an air of irregularity about the garden.
