I thought climbing to the dome was even more fun that the bell tower. In order to get there you need to walk around the central area in the cathedral. The walkway is about the width of one person, and even though there is a big wooden railing and a tall plexiglass wall (which is what makes this shot so blurry), it is a little scary if you have any fear of heights. Just enough to add to the excitement. This was actually shot returning from the dome; the people walking on the lower level are going up.

Having played Assassin’s Creed II, I was a little surprised that you could go up to the dome. The game has no walkways and no stairways; to get to the dome you have to leap around 300 ft above the ground and then climb up the inside of the unfished dome. I’m not sure it’s physically possible to keep hold of bricks when you are angled at 45 degrees, but, it makes for a fun game.
