Ponte Vecchio, Florence100 / 181
Ponte Santa Trinita gives a great view of the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). The Ponte Vecchio was originally built in Roman times, but was destroyed by floods in 1117 and 1333, except for the central piers. The current bridge was built in 1345.

The actual bridge is hard to photograph and generally has hordes of people; this view looks much better.

I think it is interesting how the houses along the edge of the river have supports to allow them to site over the edge of the river, I assume to allow greater floor area.
