The exterior is rather plain, compared to St. Paul’s. “Cathedral” seems a bit grandiose... This was once an important church, but is now on a busy one-way street (which makes taking a picture difficult, since you have to stand in the street, even with a wide-angle lens).

Note the excellent Portugese tile-work.
