This is one of the views from the Monte Fort. This was captured with an 16 mm (effective) wide angle lens. I am experimenting with a new way to display wide angle pictures: the scrollbar. So many wide angle pictures are disappointing because the lens has to add extra sky and foreground to fit the 1.5:1 display ratio. This distracts from what the eye sees, which is the panorama. But the eye cannot see the entire panorama, hence the scrollbar. |
