My friend picked me up from the Hong Kong airport and we took the ferry to Macau. (The new Hong Kong airport is so unexciting... No mountains to fly around at 500 ft) The next day we visited Coloane, a former island south of Macau. Former, because they filled in the bay, so now it is connected. The village is really tiny and picturesque. The pink building is a small temple. Lord Stow’s pastry shop is around the corner to the right and has really good egg custard.
