There is something about this stream which was really picturesque and relaxing. There is the carved rock, the pools of water, the green grass (after two days of desert, grass that is green is particularly pleasant), and the stairs carved into the rock that is inviting yet a little mysterious. Who carved these stairs? Did they choose to live here in the canyon? Am I going to be attacked by the bear(s) that are rumored to be in the region?
